Kuunda Farm is a growing Zambian agricultural enterprise focused on livestock production, crop farming and the progressive development of productive agricultural land.
What began with undeveloped land is steadily being transformed into productive farmland through land preparation, infrastructure development, livestock production and crop cultivation.
Our approach is practical and progressive: develop the land responsibly, strengthen livestock and crop systems, invest in essential infrastructure and build capacity for sustainable long-term growth.

Maize is currently Kuunda Farm's principal field crop. As the farm develops, crop production will increasingly support both market opportunities and the nutritional requirements of our livestock through dedicated feed and fodder production.

Maize is cultivated across progressively developed fields and monitored from establishment through maturity and harvest. Harvested maize is packed for storage and use, while lessons from each season help guide future improvements in field preparation, crop management and production.

As the livestock programme grows, Kuunda Farm plans to strengthen on-farm feed production through suitable fodder crops, conserved feeds and better use of crop resources. The objective is dependable year-round nutrition and reduced reliance on purchased feed.
Livestock is a central part of Kuunda Farm's development strategy. Goats currently form the foundation of the programme, supported by poultry and sheep, with future expansion planned as feed, water, housing and management capacity develops.
Goats are the current foundation of Kuunda Farm's livestock programme. The herd is being developed around structured breeding, good nutrition, appropriate housing and herd health. Dedicated housing, feeding troughs and secure enclosures provide the foundation for healthy and productive animals.
Our long-term objective is to build a productive breeding herd that can support sustainable commercial goat production while maintaining sound animal-management standards.

Breeding performance, animal condition and nutrition are important parts of our herd-management approach. Breeding stock and pregnant does are monitored while grazing is supplemented with hay and trough feeding to support year-round nutrition.
Poultry and sheep complement the goat programme and contribute to the farm's diversification. Their development will remain progressive and will be supported by appropriate housing, feeding, health management and infrastructure.
Future livestock development is intended to include cattle and other suitable enterprises as the farm's land, feed, water, housing and management capacity expands.
Expansion will be phased and guided by available land, feed resources, infrastructure, animal welfare requirements and viable market opportunities.
